Since you posted in Orlando, I am assuming that you are considering visiting Disney World or Universal. Disney is my favorite, and I have been many times. I have also been to Universal several times. I don’t go to Six Flags often (that’s where the girl’s feet were severed). But I went a couple of months ago with some friends. And this might help your son feel better. As someone who goes to lots of parks, I can tell you that there is a DISTINCT difference in Six Flags and Disney/Universal.
You don’t have to be an expert to notice how lax they are at Six Flags. It’s a totally different environment, worker-wise. Disney is a lot more vigilant, a lot more safety-conscious, and they have a lot of career employees, as opposed to teenagers that are working there for the summer. I don’t mean to insult Six Flags or teenagers, but my husband, who has only been to a couple of parks, even noticed and commented on the lackadaisical attitude at Six Flags.
I don’t know for sure how much of this is true, but here’s some things I heard about the accident at Six Flags: Six Flags installed the wrong cable, one that was not approved for the ride by the company who manufactured the ride. Some of the riders knew something seemed wrong before the ride even started and they were yelling at the attendants, but the attendants didn’t pay any attention. They were yelling after the ride started, but the attendants didn’t stop it. Like I said, maybe these things aren’t true, but I did heear them is some news stories that came out at the time. Things like this DO NOT happen at Disney/Universal. At Disney, if you raise your hand, an attendant comes running to help you.
Maybe this will help your son a little bit. And maybe you can tell him that for this trip, you will avoid any rides that make him feel uncomfortable and stick to tame rides. Work him back in slowly.

I had my thyroid removed after papillary thyroid cancer that spread to a lymph node. My doctors want me slightly hyperthyroid, but with a TSH only around 0.1 - 0.3.
They started me at 100 mcg of synthroid and I did not begin to feel good until my dose was at 200 mcg. I am not sure you are at your proper dose yet, until I was, my mind was cloudy and I was extremely tired. I didn’t gain weight, but I lost my appetite while I was under medicated. I lost 10 lbs once I was at the right level but I regained that later.
I have never returned to 100%, but I am able to work, more tired than normal, and more on edge, but my mind is back.
It may take a while before you get to your proper dose, but I am skeptical about how you will feel with a TSH that low.

I’m a professional artist and I have three sets of brushes. One set is for watercolours only, the second set is for oils only and the third set is for acrylics.
I do not intermix the brushes as the mediums do get into the brushes well up and into the ferrule where the hairs are collected and held. Once you have oils in them it does not come out and it will not work as well in a watercolour situation because the strands are wider than the brush would be if it was only used in watercolour. The pigments and binders of the different mediums do have an affect on the bristle/hairs of the brush. If you have watercolour brushes then leave them for watercolours only. Do not use those brushes on acrylics. Acrylic is a polymer plastic, the medium will get into the bristles and hairs inside the ferrule and it will ruin the brushes for watercolour. I don’t care how much or how hard you clean them after wards, the brushes will not be as effective with another medium.

Elizabeth I lies with her half-sister Mary I in the Henry VII Lady Chapel - you can see the tomb along with other famous ones, but I think you have to pay to get in during the tourist season. Best to go, as with other famous sites, at non-tourist season! It’s a wonderful chapel, and well worth a visit.
Here’s a map of the Abbey:

Right at the top is the Henry VII Chapel; click on the links to the right for more information.
Henry VIII is buried with his third wife, Jane Seymour, in St George’s Chapel, Windsor, but there’s only a plaque:

In the Tower of London, there is St Peter ad Vincula’s church, said to be the “saddest place on earth”. As another respondent said, you’re let in only as part of a Yeoman tour. Both Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard were buried there after they were beheaded, along with some other famous people from Tudor times. Anne, however, is said to have been exhumed and buried elsewhere.

The term does not ring a bell. However, there are two terms that you may have heard;
1. Ferritin- a form of iron in the blood indicating total iron body stores. Therefore, low ferritin means iron defeciency. It drops early during the development od iron deficeincy before aerum iron and transferrin become abnormally low. When it is high, it indicates iron overload.
The only time it does not coincide with iron stores is in liver disease such as hepatitis, and tumors.
So an increased ferritin must be interpreted by the doctor who can match it with the patient’s overall health.
2. Serotonin-
Definition of Serotonin
Serotonin: A hormone, also called 5-hydroxytryptamine, in the pineal gland, blood platelets, the digestive tract, and the brain. Serotonin acts both as a chemical messenger that transmits nerve signals between nerve cells and that causes blood vessels to narrow.
Changes in the serotonin levels in the brain can alter the mood. For example, medications that affect the action of serotonin are used to treat depression.
Since you classified your question under diabetes, I think you were most likely referring to ferritin, since serotonin is usually associated with mental health problems.

In the US, census records are restricted by law to 72 yrs, meaning that he would have had to be born prior to 1930 to even be in the last open census. In reality, the reason for restrictions is to prevent use of such information for identifying living persons, and thus when the census is taken.. confidentiality can be assured. Restricting personal information is becoming even more important these days, since more and more people are becoming victims of things like id theft.
And (as stated in your note), it would be critical to insure that with several men of the same name, it would be hard to be sure this is the same person.
In real life?? Even if mom knew EXACTLY who he was then, and where he is now, that would do nothing to prevent a dispute, that would only be solved by DNA testing. Or by cooperation and help from a suspected sibling. There are thousands of cases of fathers being found, years after the fact, and happy reunions. Those are the successes. I personally have to consider that many such situations do NOT end the way people would like. The same is true of adoptive searches, and people have to weigh all the pros and cons.
From my genealogy standpoint, I completely respect the feelings of many adults (or children) who are involved in not being certain of paternity. Given the limited information, my own opinion is that this one is a real stretch, and unlikely to work.

How can a theory be delusional?
Feminism is a diverse collection of social theories, political movements, and moral philosophies, largely motivated by or concerning the experiences of women, especially in terms of their social, political, and economic situation. As a social movement, feminism largely focuses on limiting or eradicating gender inequality and promoting women’s rights, interests, and issues in society.
Within academia, some feminists focus on documenting perceived gender inequalities which they claim oppress women and on changes in the social position and representation of women. Others argue that gender, and even sex, are social constructs, and research the construction of gender and sexuality, and develop alternate models for studying social relations.
Some feminist scholars have posited that the hierarchies in businesses and government and all organizations need to be replaced with a decentralized ultra-democracy. Some argue that having any central leader in any organization is derived from the androcentric family structure (and therefore needs reform and replacement), and thus such scholars see the essence of feminism as beyond the surface issues of sex and gender.

The way some parents are now makes me sick. For example, my brother was dating this girl. This girl looked 18 at least, had a CHILD who was 1, wore more make up than I do, etc, etc. Her mother told him that she was 18, told me that she was 18. So my brother continued to date her until he found out that she was 14 from a friend of his and mine. I repeat, this girl looked, talked and dressed like an 18 year old. My brother broke it off, and because he did, he’s now on the sex offenders list (btw, he was 18 at the time). Even though he didn’t have sex with her. But her mother allowed all this and even verified that she was 18. Why would a parent intentionally trap a person into thinking that their child was an adult so that they would get in trouble?
As for your question, what is the world coming to? Parents can’t discipline their kids without being called abusive, so they try to be their kids friends. They buy them everything they want and allow them to run wild. Blame the government because that is the reason why we can’t discipline our children and why we can’t say no any more. Laws have made it where kids are doing all this stuff and they have no limits. Hell, we can’t even teach them about safe sex anymore!
I’m seriously thinking of relocating…

How do you bend??

I have a video on youtube that has, surprisingly, been a help to a great number of people. I get 2-3 emails a week from people that could never bend, then got it after watching. I’m “12gagedan” on youtube. There’s other great vids on there as well.
To supplement the video:
I think there are three critical keys to learning to bend on the harmonica.
1. Clear, Clean, Distinct, single notes. This is really a key to playing harp in general.
2. Hearing what the bent note actually sounds like. So many beginners think they’re bending when they’re actually not. If you can hear the target note externally, you’ll have a much easier time knowing when you “hit the bend”
3. Patience, relaxation, and persistence. You have to keep at it, but not let yourself get too frustrated. Work for a while, then take a break. It’s amazing what happens when you stop and let your brain process. If your single notes are clean, and you are relaxed enough to move your tongue around, you should be able to get the bends.
Once you get a few bends working, you MUST keep practicing. I advise everybody (novice to pro) to keep working on their bends for the rest of your life. Things like tone and accuracy separate the truly good players from the hacks.
Trust me, there’s a lot of hacks out there.. . . Don’t tilt the harp
